Bio

Sara Binet is a swiss/french singer and composer from Basel. She studied Jazz- and Popsinging at the ICMF. She composes for and sings in her own project "Sara Binet". Her music can best be discribed as vocal Jazz with a pinch of Pop and Chanson. At the core of her compositions are the storytelling and musical expression of the emotions conjured by her lyrics in english and french.

Sara Binet composes for and sings in her jazzquartett with Klaus Frech, (arrangement and bass), Simone Bollini (piano) und Michael Heidepriem (drums).

Her duo "HarpVoc" with Daniel Ramseier (harp) performs unique covers of various musical styles from jazz, pop/rock, to blues or french chansons - all arranged specially for this in those musical genres very rare combination of harp and voice.
